Come join us as the community of Squamish celebrates its volunteers
Volunteer Canada’s Volunteer Recognition Study indicates that most volunteers prefer a genuine thank you for their efforts. Sincere words that highlight the impact of a volunteer’s contributions or simple personalized tokens are meaningful and appreciated. April 10 to April 16, 2016 is National Volunteer Week (NVW); a time to celebrate and thank the many volunteers in Squamish.
Open House Kick Off Event
Sunday April 10
Squamish Adventure Centre, 3:00–5:00pm
Activities include (but not limited to):
o NFP Organization Appreciation / Recruiting booth
o NFP Appreciation Posters - to be on display all week
o Sign in table
o Tuesday Movie ticket pick up
o Draw prizes
o Food at each booth – provided by booth host
o Beverage station – hosted by SNN
o Emcee/speech – 4:00pm
Movie Night - Social
Tuesday April 12
Squamish Adventure Centre, 7:00–9:00pm
Activities include (but not limited to):
o Movie – To be announced soon
o Door Prizes
o Refreshments
o Sign in table
o Will require tickets to enter (space is limited)

Friday April 15
Squamish Public Library, 8:00–9:00am
